INDIANA BEACH CAMP RESORT GENERAL PARK RULES FOR 2008Welcome to the Indiana Beach Camp Resort. We hope that your stay with us will be enjoyable and pleasant. If you have any questions or problems please feel free to ask the campground personnel. Our goal is to provide you with a quality camping experience. Registration: Registration is required for everyone upon entry to the campground. No one under 21 is allowed to camp without a parent or legal guardian. Each family must have a parent present on the site or in a cabin. Site Selection and Assignment: We do not guarantee specific campsites. We will do our best to keep all groups together. If you should need to change sites please check with the office staff to see what is available. Health Regulations: The Indiana State Board of Health requires that all gray water be disposed of in a closed container unless you are connected to the sewer system. Trash (garbage): Please deposit your trash in the nearest trash tote. Trash is picked up on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Holidays the trash is picked up on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Please do not dispose any hot coals in the containers or any tree limbs. Dump Station: Dump stations are available near Comfort Station 1 and 2. There is a charge of $5.00 for dumping, payable in the office. Cabins: Pets are not allowed in the cabin or on the cabin grounds. All smoking needs to be done outside. Tents are allowed on cabin sites for an additional charge. Vehicles, Boats and Trailers: All vehicles must be registered with the office and parked in your designated area. All vehicles must display a car pass. If more than one vehicle will be on your site an additional fee is due and a pass will be issued. Drive Safely: The speed limit within the camp resort is 8 MPH. Unlicensed or underage persons are not allowed to drive in the camp resort. No “joy riding” is permitted in the park, for any motorized vehicle. Remember that children are playing throughout the park and they simply don’t watch for traffic. Children: Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children and may not leave them unattended. Please know where your children are at all times. Under Indiana State Law you are responsible for damages or vandalism up to $1,000.00. All children and teenagers must be at their campsites by 11PM. An adult should accompany small children at all times. Disabled Guests: Please ask any Indiana Beach Camp Resort employee if you need assistance. Visitors or Day Guests: All visitors must register at the office upon arrival, they need to obtain a vehicle pass and pay the appropriate visitor fee. There is no admittance prior to 8 AM and all visitors must leave the camp resort by 11 PM. Campers are responsible for their visitors. Any violations of the rules could result in the loss of campers site with no refund. Pets: No more than two pets are allowed per site and the pets should be use to camping. Pets must be kept under owner control at all times; no pet is to be left unattended on the owner’s camping site. All dogs must be kept on a leash no more than ten feet long. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of all pet droppings anywhere in the park, including your site. Children should not walk pets. Pets are not permitted in any buildings, playgrounds or recreational areas, with the exception of service dogs. Pets are not allowed in any of the cabins including the cabin grounds. No aggressive natured breeds are allowed on the property at any time. The campground reserves the right to require removal of animals, which are unruly, loud, or misbehaved. If you, the camper, has to leave due to the pet’s disturbance there will be no refund. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 11PM to 8AM. At these times anyone under 21 not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian must be at their own campsite. All campers must observe quiet hours by regulating their activities so that others, campers in the site next to you, will not be disturbed. Please
Alcohol: Adults of legal age may consume alcohol on their campsite only and in moderation. Loud or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave with no refund. Campfires: Campfires must be supervised by adults, and attended at all times. Fires must be totally extinguished when not personally attended. Campfires should be extinguished by 1AM. No cutting or chopping of any standing tree, dead or alive. No defacing or damaging trees with knives, nails, axes or saws. There is a $50.00 fine per plant for damages. Firewood can be purchased at the camp store. Please note that White County is under quarantine and no firewood is to leave the county. We ask that you not bring more wood than you can burn. Laundry: Laundry facilities are available in three of the comfort stations (see site map). Soap, bleach, and softener are available in the camp store. Please note that clotheslines are not allowed on sites or cabin sites. Please do not wash clothes, dishes or pets in restrooms. Bicycles: Bikes should not be ridden after dusk. If you do ride your bike at night you must have working headlights and taillights. Bikes may not be ridden anywhere other than the roads in the campground. We do encourage safety gear (helmets, knee pads, etc.). Please park bikes in the bike racks at the Camp Store, Mountain Water Works, or CD’s Coffee Shop. ATV’s, Go-Karts, Motorized Trail Bikes or Scooters, or off-the-road vehicles are NOT ALLOWED on campground property. Golf Cars: Golf cars are allowed in the camp resort, there is a registration fee of $5.00 per camping visit per car. Golf Cars shall be limited to 4-wheeled golf cars and should have front and back lights. Three-wheeled golf cars, lift kits (seasonal lift kits prior to 2008 are allowed) or enhanced engines are not allowed on camp resort property. You must register your golf car in the office at the time of check-in. At that time a list of rules and regulations will be given to you.
This is a privately owned and operated campground. The campground is not responsible for accidents or injuries to campers, guest, or their property or the loss of valuables of any kind. The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Camp Resort and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes. We Reserve the Right to interpret and enforce all the rules for the benefit and safety of all. We Reserve the Right to request immediate check out to anyone who in our judgment is causing a disturbance or appears to be a security risk. We will evict anyone violating the above rules, destroying property or creating a disturbance without a refund. Underage drinking on the campground or returning to campsite in an intoxicated manner constitutes reason for being required to check out, with no refund. Entrance Onto the Campground property constitutes permission for the management of Indiana Beach Camp Resort to photograph anyone while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual.
